Silver Sabre

Testing his skills with Bare Metal Foil on only his third model ever constructed, Robert has delivered a spectacular F-86F that was buffed with car wax to bring out the shine. This is the 1/48 scale kit by Hasegawa.

Man that is one great looking Sabre. Probably the best "metal" finish I've seen. Congratulations Mr White.

That's a great looking shine on that bird Mr. White! Job well done. I've seen it being applied at my local hobby shop a while back. Is it as easy as it looks? I say "easy" because the guy there made it look so. I'm sure it takes a bit of practice.

It's not hard to apply the foil just a little practice and you figure out what your limits are. If you are not worried about wasting a few pieces of foil you can apply each pannel untill you are happy with it.
