introduction
Sikorsky planned the S-38 to be an "Explorer's Air Yacht". 101 were produced beginning in 1928. The S-38 was the first mass produced amphibious aircraft. They were used as small airliners, military liaison aircraft and luxury transports. By far the most famous S-38 was Osa's Ark, used by filmmakers Osa and Martin Johnson to support an epic two year journey through Africa.the kit
Czech Master Resin's kit is very well detailed and includes markings for Osa's Ark. The model was built straight from the box.Comments
Thanks guys, after creating the zebra decals it sat on my shelf for 2.5 years waiting for me to get over the intimidating strut work. It started (the revisitation) with making the cabin windows from blister pack plastic and it took off from there.
Thanks again

Fantastic build, Mike! I guess I would never get it this way as I have my problems with resin parts .....
Last year September I have seen the real aircraft flying over the Hahnweide in Germany at one of our most famous airshows here.
Happy modelling!
