Thanks Stephen. The weather Gods have not been kind! This is the 8th day in a row with Rain and High Humidity I think I could have finished if not for the moisture trap problem. As t is I will post pictures showing how far I got before my surrender!

I tried but it just did not happen! Here are some pictures of where I was with the Nieuport 23 when time ran out. I will shoot the Albatros soon. By the way, do the rules prohibit my finishing the models on this thread?

Thanks again for the support,

No such prohibitions exist. Please finish them here! I know I would love to see them completed.

I will finish these in the near future! By the way, the sharp eyed readers may have noticed screw up number one in the last pictures posted. Working from memory I applied the serial number to the rudder. It reads as applied, A.6667. Of course it should read,A.6766
So that brings me to the following request, If anyone has the original Eduard RFC Nieuport 17 release , and do not plan on using kit markings, I need ALL of the Black outlined in white 6s' on the sheet! Thanks, and I am willing to pay or trade with AG Storks markings for Nieuports, or my unused Italian and french markings from the Nieuport Profikit ie Nungesser.
TIA,

This is where the Albatros was at the time of the "DEADLINE". Upper wing mounted waiting to paint the rear fuselage section Black. Damn humidity!

Stephen, I am still in need of the serial numbers. Any luck in finding them? By the way, pegasus serials would also work, again I will trade or pay as necessary! TIA,

No, I haven't given up, just slowed down!
I started rigging the Nieuport yesterday. I may finish enough to take some pics later today.

I have made progress on the rigging. Two pound test trout fishing line was passed through the pre-drilled holes and secured with superglue. The fishing line was colored with a silver Sharpie. Also note that the straight out of the box Aldis sight, and Aileron controls were added since the last photos. Next will be rigging the landing gear struts and the Elevator/ Rudder rigging. I also went back and changed the Lewis gun. I used the Eduard kit gun with a Barrel scratch built from plastic Rod.

As I said to Stephen earlier, I am still working on them, I have just slowed down! That being said, here is a short list of stupid mistakes I made while trying to build these in about two weeks:
1. Forgot to put the roundel on the undersurface of the upper wing before attaching to the struts/lower wing. Had to slice and dice the decals to get them in position,This resulted in tears, chips etc. that I will have to repair!
2. Realizing I forgot the roundels on the undersides of the upper wing I promptly applied the Roundels to the upper surface/upper wing. Of course this should have been done after rigging and touch up to the paint. Now I have to patch the roundels on the upper surface also.
3. Didn't install the Aldis sight before the upper wing was installed.
It seems I am forgetting a few but I will stop here for now, :-)
