..can't beat Revell for quality/price - although it has a couple of small problems; wing chord is slightly undersize and canopy/fuselage spine area is wrong, but nothing that will overly detract from a decent result.....

I don't remember seeing a Revell hurricane (boxed as a) mk.1, but at least their Finnish "mk.II" actually comprises of mk.I fuselage, B-type wing (12 mg's) and a mk.II spinner and prop.
Because of the fuselage, it's easiest to do as a mk.I, as I did HERE.
It takes some tweaking, but makes for a nice model.
As said, I have only experience with this Finnish version boxing, but I highly suspect the plastic is the same in other versions as well. If possible, take a look at the kit before buying.

Ok guys, another question,

Which is better, the 1/72 Academy Hurricane IIC or 1/72 Revell Hurricane IIC?

Hi,

I haven't built the academy one, but I have just built the Revell IIC. It fell together great, no need for any filler at all. Only downpoint if you want is very little interior detail, but thats a nit-pick. Good kit and very cheap.
