Howdy Folks, we here at Iron Division will soon be branching out into Aircraft Conversions, Accessory sets and other WW2 aircraft-related items. The problem is that we are at a loss as to what you, our fellow Modellers, are looking for in the area of resin stuff. Your suggestions are welcome [url]http://www.topgunmilitary.com

Hi Bob!
There is one vehicle I hope someone will do in the near future and that's a decent Cletrac tractor. If it is produced by you, I would buy a couple of them!
I still wonder why no company has made a decent 1/48 Cletrac yet...
Another interesting thing would be a movable control tower...
Yes, on the roof it's a B-17 nose...

Hi Bob,
Here is my short list, in 1/48:
Small buildings/shacks like the one in pic 2 Jean-Luc posted.
Portable generators/APU's and portable water pumps ( I know they would be tiny!).
Weighted (bulged) wheels for the new Tamiya 1/48 trucks.
Really, it's hard to think of anything right now, but when I see it......

Cletrac Tractor sounds like a good idea, checked into it already. Now if I could only find some decent drawings/dimensions of it and overhead photos, we'll be in business! Our new M-6 Bomb Truck will be coming out and I'm checking in to an M-5 Saginaw Bomb Trailer kit. Unfortunately, that is the problem sometimes, finding accurate information on a particular subject (i.e. Plans, drawings, good clear photographs). I'm also working on the M-1943 US Pyramidal Tent which is shown on many photos of forward airfields.
Our way of thinking is simple, why produce something that nobody wants? If we get enough requests for a particular item, it will be produced!

Hi Bob!
Is the tent similar to the Custom Dioramics one?
I have the above tent in my stash and I must say it looks very good. A lot better than the tent Verlinden did some years ago. If you do another model I'd be interested too.
I made some researches on the net regarding the Cletrac but I didn't found a 3 view plan yet. There are nice photos in the KitMaker walkaround area: M2 Cletrac.
There are two Cletracs currently available in 1/48 scale, although both are of poor quality. The first one can be found in the Monogram/Revell B-24 kit and the second one in Lindberg's Shark Missile kit. I think the first one is a better base than the second since it depicts a WW2 model. Lindberg's Cletrac has a different design and is smaller.

Thanks for the Cletrac Link Jean-Luc, much appreciated! Really nice pics and basically all I need is a decent set of drawings and work can commence. Do you know how close the Tractor that comes with the Monogram B-24 in dimensions? Might be able to use it as a guide to scratching a Master.
Our Tents will be a one-piece, hollow cast deal with a very thin piece of flash covering the entry. We will also offer optional bases with them as many of these tents had wooden floors and sometimes wooden framework supporting the sides. An accessory set for them will contain other items such as Cots, Foot Lockers, sleeping GI's and other small items. We have many of the 1:1 items here plus the WW2 Tech and Engineers manuals to work from. I'll also be releasing the M-1950 GP Small (or MASH Tent) which will be produced along the same lines.

Hi Bob.
Id love to see a Cletrac and general airfield equipment. Starter trolleys etc.and dont forget bicycles!
An end of runway control caravan would be really nice as well.
Heres a link that may help you with your Cletrac research.

ID isn't belly up., just the 48th scale line is going out. Since splitting from Top Gun and starting a regular full-time job, the time to keep up with the 48th scale products just isn't there anymore. To compound the problem, 48th scale just isn't selling as well as 72nd. So, all energies will be turned towards the 1/72nd scle line and I'll be adding the new Aircraft conversions and accessories to the line-up within the next few months. I'm also considering the Cletrac in 1/72nd scale, heck I have enough info and spare parts for it now!
