Not half as much as Im looking forward to the next installment of the Helldiver build Chuck!
I think with the amount of work thats going to be involved in the Spitfire build I might have to have another P-47 running at the same time in order to have an escape avenue for those days when it all gets too much!
You'll enjoy working with the Miracle Masks Chuck.

I'll be taking some better photos soon. I'll submit them if you like, but it would be nice to see photo features from new members dont you think?

Hi Nige!

Yes, I would love to see photo features from new members. But I'm also sure a lot of people who don't visit the forum would be happy to see you model as well. So take some more pictures and send them to me, will you!

Wonderful work Nige! It is a real beauty with the final coat to blend it all together. I really like the undercarriages - they look great!

And the markings / masks, WOW! Really, really nice. I imagine that with all the fading of paint jobs and such we try to replicate it would really help with fading of the markings too (I'm thinking of the OD/NG P-47s especially )

Great stuff!

Thanks Allen.
The masks work really well and certainly open up possibilities to fade markings etc.
Watching colour film I have of Wolfpack P47's the markings arent faded as such, theyve taken on more of a grubby appearance.
I feel another Razorback coming on
