I believe it should be a .GIF, I suggest you drop a PM to the staff member who authorises the campaign as they will be able to help you far better than I.

Hi,
This is my offering to the campaign.
Revell S-37 Berkut (1/144)
Looks like a nice little kit. I've never done this scale before so wish me luck ...

Looking forward to see more when we get started

I shall be building the Italeri F-117 Nighthawk in 1/48th. I'm expecting the build to progress quite rapidly as there isn't a lot of parts and more importantly no complicated paint schemes .
Have we got an official build thread or shall we start our own ?

Maybe we could just pin this one and continue here?
A little of topic, but still: Andy, could or somebody from the staff pin the Battle for Europe campaign tread?

First bit of progress, rear was not a good fit and cockpit is a bit off the kit control panel is in mid air!
Anyway the YF-23 Blackwidow II is the first off the bench.

What happen to this aircraft anyway, after the competition with YF-22? Is it at a museum or scrap out?

Hi all,
I attacked my S-37 at the weekend and here is the result ...
A really nice little kit, no filling/sanding needed, practically threw itself together. Should hopefully have the decals done by the end of the week.

Hi all,
The Berkut got its decals and is almost finished, .... this is a new record for me; a model completed in a week!
I got the idea of using a CD for a base somewhere on the net and gave it a go.

Looks great mike. A real nice and fast build.
I will get started on my Berkut in 1/72 scale a few weeks. I will go for a "production" camouflage scheme.
More to come

I have now started my 1/72 Berkut. This is one big aircraft!
I build the cockpit OOB and added the pilot figure in the kit. I plan to show this aircraft in the air so the kit included pilot figure is very helpful.
More to follow.....

Thanks, Mike. Appreciate it.
I think we should use the other tread now for this campaign, as the other "paint it black" tread has been pinned. Therefore I have double posted last step of my build. Maybe the administration guys can merge the two treads?
