Many of you may remeber the "harricatures" that Harri (jetprovost) used to produce. Well if you thought they were good this is the sort of thing he is doing now. This is copyright and has a watermark embeded in it plus it is a "low quality web image", so please do not copy It will be available soon as a limited issue print.
This picture does not do this justice but you can see the intricate detail that Harri has achieved.

Wow! What detail, Mal I see you adopted that image for an avatar are you trying to be the next Marlboro Man? Did you model for him or did Harry shoot from the hip?
Sincerely,
Brian

Well I always wanted an RAF pilot from WWII as an avatar (of course this is a Spitfire pilot ) and when I saw this I just had to use it, with Harri's permission of course. Harri bought all the necessary gear, Irvine jacket, flying helmet, goggles, mask and a friend of his posed for a photo. Apart from all the superb detail it's the real look of thought.
Study the detail, you can actually see the texture of the different elments, leather, rubber, fur etc, and know what each is made of, in reality.

The original exhibition had been cancelled, I believe, then someone put the word out and Harry was invited along to show his work. He now has an exhibition pending this December. Another indication of just how good Harry is and remember he draws in coloured pencil normally. He drew a commissioned picture of one of the reps (from work) in a classic race car )done in coloured pencil), at the meeting one of the gallery owners ask Harry how much he wanted for it. The guys wife suggested that he didn't need another "photograph" of a classic racing car. When she was told that it wasn't a photograph she took another look Harry can draw anything, he really does pi** me off
I did say that those original Harricatures would be worth something one day.
This drawing will also grace my MPM trade stand with a caption something like:
"Trying to decide on a set of markings for your next project? don't be tied to what decals are available, have your favourite scheme turned into masks"
The trouble is the trade stand isn't going to happen this year
