Remember the thread I posted about Roden asking me what I would like to see in 1/48 & 1/32? For better or worse I opened it up here and several other forums for members to get a chance to sound off. I was correct in my assumption that they had the 1/72 scale line up already chosen.

Wow!
If Roden get's around to one tenth of that list then they will make us all very happy.
Cheers,
Hugh

It is surprising to me that the SSW beat out the AlbatrosDV in 1/32nd scale! Perhaps many of us considered that as a given? That being said it will be interesting to see what Roden does with the list. And of course Kudos for asking in the first place!!
Another interesting aspect is Eduard and any other company that so desires now has a readily available market research list!

From the list above they are doing:
1/32 DH 2 completed and available
1/32 SSW D.III (& IV?) are underway.
1/32 Spad VII 2nd issue is coming in AEF markings.
1/32 kit versions of their motors from ealier kits.
There is much more to come from our friends at Roden. Send them a thanks will ya? Don't let them be thinking "Now why don't they write?"

Great list and certainly more than I can build, I would have asked for the Caudron G4 and a decent Bleriot XI in 1/48

I may have a conversion article somewhere around here. But you don't like conversions?

Very amusing Stephen Last time I got well into a conversion Roden announced the release of the kit of the same subject... I don't want to play that game again!

The Laws of Modeling 101 strikes again! And the slight reference to your conversion endeavour was a happy circumstance to this particular instance. She did turn out beautifully. And you have to admit for it to happen again is a call of large odds. Since they have already announced it you can't be dissappointed if you begin the conversion. Just trying to bring a little happiness into your life.

Hi Stephen
Can I add one to the wish-list? It's technically only just within the time-parameters of Early Aviation, but it's definitely in the spirit of it: a 1:32 Gloster Gladiator.
Roden have already done all the research for their 1:48 scale version and a largescale Gladiator would be superb!
And what about a Gauntlet, a Fury, a Hart, or a Siskin or a Bulldog... you get the idea!
All the best
Rowan
