Carl,
Sorry, but unlike the extremely generous Larsa (who sent THREE
![](../modules/SquawkBox/images/smilies/embeer.gif)
) .............I could only send you the ONE
I drank the others. Needed the aluminum to repair my sunglasses.
I'll tell you one thing..............that pilot drew attention to himself.

Steve

Wonderful model Carl, congratulations!
The decals are a bit translucent, aren't they?

Yes they are. You can even see the read and white stripes through the black portions. That is the only weak part of the kit. Maybe we will see some AM decals in the future. I am going to let it sit for a few days to dry up real good. Then, I am going to mask it all up and paint the marking on over the decals. I really am not looking forward to that endeavor.
I will make up a little slide show on how I do the plywood. Maybe next week.

II was afraid of it, I smell problems with the markings of my striped Fokker Dr.1....

Just a bit sidetracked. There is a lot of holiday shopping to do with 11 grandkids, plus 2 neighbor kids that might as well be grandkids. I actually moved it back to the workbench a little while ago. I will do a little work on it tomorrow morning.

Thanks. This kit is one of those great kits that can be built quikly and look really good. But if you want to take your time and do some extra work, you will end up with a real show-stopper. I actually finished up the last of the touchup work and added the final pieces. But since I have been out of town, I haven't had a chance to photograph it yet. But now that all my familial obligations are complete...

Stephen, I agree completely, this is a really nice looking model! Congrats Carl!!!!!! Speaking of Rodens website, I tried to send pics but got no response and no pictures have appeared, of my DIII. Vista doesn't allow me to send E Mail direct via a link on a site. Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

Greetings Rick send them to me and I'll forward them. They seem to recognize my e-mail and my subject phrases. But it takes them a long time to get things up on their website even when they send them up.

Great Work , Carl !!! I'm sure you spent a lot of time masking.
I'm planning to build the same machine but in 1/48.
Cheers,
Claudio

Actually, I am trying to change over to 1/32. But there is no escaping 48th scale.
Thanks everybody. If you try one of these kits, I think you will be happy with the results.

Great job on this crate, looking really good. I am starting to look real hard at 1/32 myself, my eyesight isn't getting any better, so I've noticed. Quite a few manufacturers are putting out some real nice kits so the variety is showing up as well. I have a bunch of Rodens 1/32 kits now and while I haven't put glue to plastic yet, they look quite workable and from the results everyone is getting, what's not to like?
Carry on, Dwayne
