Thanks for all of the great comments, guys. My son was very excited to see all the interest in his model.
I did help him all along the way, and the canopy was prepainted. However, he did most of the work himself. He is so proud of this model that I really think he will get excited and want to do more in between Yu Gi Oh cards and little league...
Thanks again,
Scott

Great stuff, when I was 10 my models needed a large hand-painted sign telling people what they were supposed to be. Now the sign is only medium sized... Keep it up Dusty you're embarassing the rest of us. Jim

Dusty. Nice work. That is a really sweet looking model. If you are cranking this level of work out at 10, you've got a very bright future ahead of you.
If your Dad will let you join armorama, you should enter some campaigns. By the time you graduate high school, you'll be the most decorated member on the board!
Congratulations. Look forward to seeing more of your stuff.

That's a really nice bird! Excellent paint job...it looks like it's about to fly out of his hand and go on patrol :-)
He's a natural...I can't wait to see what he decides to work on next. Keep us updated on his next model please!

Nice plane and I really like the gloss finish. I was 12 when I first built the Monogram F6F-5, I don't know what happened to that model but I built another 5 years ago (I'm 37 now) and painted it the same gloss sea blue finish. Goodness you brought back some memories! thanks for sharing your work.
