Pushy , pushy aren't we there Bob ! All good things come to those who wait .................

I really don't use oils at all for dry brushing ................I use acrylics and pastel chalks . No fansy colours , what ever the base colour is I lighten it with either white or an off white . Depending on the look I'm going for I will do this a few times getting lighter as I go with the final one just white then blending it all in with a dusting of light grey pastels . This works for WW2 and up .......WW1 aircraft didn't weather all that much . They weren't in service for very long ( short life span ) But still check your ref's on the subject you are working on and go from there .......................................................

Now there seems to be a few request that I do the Albatros .

The Pfalz has been choosen , sorry Albbie fans . Fear not !! I will do one right after my next project . A vac kit by Koster SSW D.III 1/48 scale .

Sounds like a great idea you have there , but it will have to wait for now . In the future I will be more then happy to do a dual build with you . Still have to get the Windsock datafile which I'm having a very hard time tracking one down .

I got a spare datafile... found it in the loft complete with sealed Academy Camel......now I bought both again for the Cammel V DRI campain....doh!

1 I bought several tears ago before we moved here...thats 7 yrs now...still in the boxes and 1 I bought for the campaign thinking after much searching I had imagined buying the first..or messed it up and discarded it
