hello Willow, i hope my Photobucket had enough room for your pics,
the bottom pic gives you a better look at the colours used,
next time i would lean towards filling gaps, and knockout marks,
are you planning to add the control wires after slapping on the decals,?

Great subject and your painting looks neat, like James says, you need to fill the seams, that kit has really unusual seams under the fus. The reading the seams thread is good but with care and a little modelling putty you can get good results. I changed my method of rigging WW1 aircraft after reading this site and I have never done a E series but read up before you go too far, it isn't difficult but a little thinking time working out where the holes should go will pay dividends later. I would drill before decalling. then punch thro the decals. I now use invisible mending thread for rigging and my last attempt was good. The rigging on the Eindecker is worth fitting, it adds subtly to the effect of the model. Well done so far, it took me far longer to produce something as nice as that

Welcome to the wonderful world of stringbags*. I like what you did for your "first descent looking aeroplane" I think you will enjoy these early fly-thingies, and they will challenge you to improve your skills. Dont be afraid to try new things (like rigging) But the most important thing is to have fun. Nice job. Be sure to post pics after you decal and rig.
* These cursed things drive me to tears.
