I heard that Airfix starts up with a new production lines: ww1 planes in 1:48 and 1:72 scale. The first produced model is going to be 1:48 Sopwith Camel. Do you have any more specific details about this models? What's going to be next?

Hello Michal -

I know that Airfix is re-releasing a lot of their old WW I kits, but have not heard of any re-tooling efforts on them, which is actually too bad since kits such as their 1/72 scale RE-8 are over 50 years old and are in desperate need of upgrading!

I do know that Airfix plans to re-do the molds for their 1/72 scale Mig 15, Spitfire and BF-109G, but that's all I know of. Do you recall where you had recieved this information about their WW I kits?
