Could someone please tell me which is the best clear coat to use before applying decals. I have read a lot of reports from different people and they all have their own favorites. I know it boils down to personal choice but there must be one product out there that stands out from the crowd.
I usually spray Humbrol Clear Cote Gloss.
Thanks.....Des.

For my gloss cote I use future as posted up top in this thread . can use it from the bottle or runthrough your airbrush . doesn't need to thinned but you can if you like with acrylic thinner and cleans up with water . For dullcote I use testors either in a spray can or bottle for brushing .

Thanks guys and gals, you have been most helpful.
The SE5a in 1/32 I'm building is just about done, looking pretty good (in my eyes).
I've tried graphite powder as a highlighter for the first time, gives the plane a real used look about it.
I will continue on through the wee small hours of the night....thanks again.
