I can't find 1940 campaign thread anywhere, so I'm asking here,

Does the plane have to be in action during summer 1940 or only active unit? I'm just thinking about finnish air force, winter war had ended in 13. march and barbarossa begun in 1941, so they weren't in action but still active.

Thanks as ever for your sterling work keeping all the Campaigns shipshape.

I'll definitely try to complete both the Bf 109 and 2-Seater builds - I'll do LF Models' radial-engined V-21 for the former and Mirage's Halberstadt for the latter.

Hi I started that one and originally was intended to cover battles of France and Britain, I intended the First shots to cover the Winter War, Phoney War and the Polish Campaign. First Shots didn't get enough takers to submit. I'd still build for both, I'm itching to build an I-16 or I-153 or a PZL The Siummer 1940 thread is probably buried a couple of pages back and I would be happy to include any Finnish aircraft operational in 1940 in the campaign

Tuomas, Summer 1940 actually started life as Battle of Britain campaign and the thread is still there, I thought it might be better to include the Battle of France as well
