Yes of course the exhausts .. how can I forget such thing
I kept smoke and dust to a minimum, as it seems they had cleaned it for the photos. I also added a bit of steel as per pix in the first post. (see last pic below)
o.k. here are the pix.
still I have a bit of adjustment, but it is not serious enough to take new pix.
hope you like it
all the best
Steffen

Looks good Steffen! I'm on a bit of a P40 thing myself at the moment, last week finished a "N" for the RAAF campaign and about one or two days from finishing the "E" of Robert L. Scott.
I know you have some dislike of the Hasegawa inserts, but after two of them i honestly have to say that i can tolerate them...adding only a little time to the build and they fitted okay for me- the fuselage inserts are better for the later version "N" than the "E". But i'd like them to do a new fuselage for a Merlin powered version, otherwise i'm going to have to use that recently rereleased Hobbycraft kit.

Thanks again to all for your kind comments and patience!
While it was one of the smoother builds I screwed up quite a bit. This is surely not my best model, but I like it anyway. As for the Hasegawa jigsaw kit ... it is not a bad kit, but I do not like this many parts for a single fuselage. Still the result is o.k. and I will surely build one or another of those.
So whats up next. I still have a bunch of kits on the "near the worbench stack". Most likely candidates are the Tempest(eduard), Bf 109A (CA), Bf 109F (ICM), Bf110E (Eduard), Fw 190 A-4 (Hasegawa) or Fw 190A-8 (eduard) .. all pretty advanced so I can proceed a bit until the Fokker E.V arrives. I feel the Ju 52 is a bit more than I can choke at the moment .. but it is not forgotten and who knows what comes to my mind tomorrow.
BTW I like to see more build threads here so start another project .. or finish something so we can see a photo feature!!
all the best
