Hi Andrew,

yes, I've also missed a few P-40 issues since. But one day they will all return. Maybe I will get this finnish P-40 M, though it's quite expensive over here in Germany .....

So far I have 3 Airacobras (all from Eduard) but they are still sleeping in their boxes. It's one Dual Combo (RAF and VVS) and an USAAF aircraft from the Pacific. At the moment I'm working on Hasegawa's Ki-45 Toryu, one of my favourite warbirds. It will become a machine of "B-29 Killer" Isamu Kashiide. After that will probably follow a Hellcat from Eduard.

Anyway, here comes another Warhawk from me, which I built in 2007. It's a P-40 N (Yellow 42/"Kansas City Kiddie III") as flown by Capt. Robert H. White of 8. FS/49. FG at New Guinea in November 1943. It's the 2. version of Hasegawa's regular P-40 N kit (JT 88). But the 1. version ("Geronimo") will follow this year ..... The ground plate is again from Mark58. Hope you like the photos.

Greetings
Torsten

Andrew,

I used the Hasegawa 48 scale P 40e Aleutian Tiger boxart [with the 3 decal options of the 'Tiger Head'], to build my 'Milne Bay' bird for the Ronnie RAAF campaign, I also have the Hasegawa P 40k, boxart shows a 57th F.G Tunisia bird, I intended to build it as that flown by John Gorton, but the decal option for a second subject shows a bird flown by the 18th F.G in the same upper surface cammo as my RAAF build but the artwork on the cowling is of a 'Cobra's Head' using the aircraft cammo colours and 6 point white stars.
