Hello Aeroscale folks!

Back from holidays I had to finish Prillers Bf109 F-4. Hasegawa 1/48 with Aires cockpit.
I think I'll do a little vignette for this plane. But have to wait till accessories arrive.

All comments and questions welcome!

Best regards and a good start tommorrow!

Hi A.W.

Wow! That's a beauty!

Tell us more about how you did the rivetting - or better yet, let's get this straight onto the Front-Page as a Feature article with all the info and more pics!

All the best

Hi hellvetier,

Excellent work again. I too would be interested to know more about the techniques used...

Hello guys!

Thanks for your nice comments, but I thought there will be more criticism but if I finished a kit and look at it, you see always things you could do better...

The fit of the aires cockpit wasn't very pleasent, but looks good. Next time I'll use Eduard PE to comperate. Hasegawa parts were very easy to assemble.
I put the basic camo on and then post-shaded the panel lines. Followed by a highlighting of the panels themselves, last thing was to overspray everything with the very diluted basic color again. Wash was made with promodellers. I like this procedure very much, even though it's very time consuming.

Perhaps I'll have some pictures I took during the build left on my HD.

Keep building guys!

There is no such thing as a perfect model since there is no such thing as a perfect person. It is easy to find fault with oneself. The Me-109F is a really, really nice model though. I hope to see more of your work, I've enjoyed seeing things you have posted in the past. Keep on modeling! Great job. Russell

Too bad, there aren't much bf-109 variants on the market, or am I looking on the wrong places?

Now I'm starting with my Morane Saulnier 406 in Swiss markings

I am Josef "Pips" Priller's 3 cousin he would be very glad that there are models of his bf 109 if he was still alive today so thank you for making his plane I have it to but have not finish it yet when his brother moved to England in the late 1930's he took the er away from are surname as German people living in London were not welcome because of the 2nd world war starting so now we are known as Prill today there are still some of as living in Germany today so once again thankyou for making his plane.
