BTW, it looks as if the exhausts are not designed to be adjustable. I wonder if any of the other kits will offer the option of displaying them open or closed? Just a thought. A bit more detail on the arse end of this bird would be nice.

then I do appologize for getting a bit slow lately.

While filling and sanding is not that a bad task for me, the rescribing really puts me off at the moment.

Also I desperately hope that Gordon from NeOmega holds his promise and I will get the replacement part for my "Super Ente" soon .. I am really running out of time for the Marseillaise campaign .. hey it is a jet too

I will focus on my Tamiya Thunderbolt for the next week and then see if I am in the mood to tackle the rescribing job.

Hermann, the model fits pretty good for such large plastic parts. Detail is good and it looks Raptor (I cannot comment on the correctness of the shape as I have no clue) Still it is no Tamiya kit and you will need a few basic modelling skills (filling and sanding) to build the kit (but honestly that is part of the fun).

The problem I have is because I wanted to close the bays . As the lower fuselage was pretty wobbly I glued in all bays to strengthen the "hull". The side weapon bay covers are approx 2 mm too small/narrow, not sure this is corrected on the production kit (this is a test shot).

Maybe it is wise to wait for the Hasegawa kit to appear. If it is much better you could rather take that one or if not you can choose the (surely) cheaper Academy kit...
