Lookin real good Justin, I'm really enjoying your build here. You are pushing me closer to buying this kit, so when it appears and SWMBO goes ballistic, I'll blame you, OK??

We're still here.
Three questions.
1. Have you given any thought to making her dirty? A few paint chips here and there and some exhaust stains? I know Navy birds were MUCH better cared for then their Marine brothers but that's alot of blue with nothing much to show for wear and tear. It's all a matter of personal taste.
2. Are you planning on a dullcoat to finish it off?
3. I usually go with a black wash on everything I build to help pick out panel lines and details but a few of the really dark colored birds I've done with a white wash. Believe it or not it looks great.

Hermon Ive done a lot of research and as i to usually use pro modler wash
Great stuff. It seems since im building this one wings folded it would have been in storage
so it would have been a cleaner and more maintaind then one sitting on the deck.

Nice work Justin
It was definitely worth the effort on the undercarriage, even if it did do your head in! It looks great!
All the best

WOW!
OK........please don't enter this one in the model of the month competition for November Justin. I'm planning on entering one of my kits and if THIS one is in the running I won't waste my time.
Looks awsome. Or as a Bostonian might say "wicked cool".

Tonight i got the engine painted and wired for install tomorrow.........
I then completed the wings and got all the hydraulics run.
I had many REF'S on the hydraulics and they were all ran differant so i
choose the one with them running the way i have them.I used guitar
string cut to length and CE'ed in place.
All that i have left is the front nose assembly and this one will be ready for the MOM
and the shelf.

Very nice Corsair. I would like it even more if the wings would be down, but it's really nice anyway.

Stunning finish on the Corsair Justin!! What shade of blue did you use for the finish (I have a hellcat on my desk and wasn't sure which blue to use).
