Now I here the Gotha calling me.

It doth beckon me as well Herr Althaus! Everytime I go to the page on the WNW website, it beguiles and beckons with a sirens cry "Buy me Buy me"!
Oh the Humanity!

I must admit I was disappointed with the small release last year. Maybe we will get a more regular release this year.

WNW Wish list.

Well I only wish for two things.

1 The DVII

2 My damn Rumpler to arrive, It was shipped on the 2nd of Dec apparently now its almost the 4th of Jan and still no sign... WNW really have to look at their release timing and think about poor Mr Grumpies like me sitting with a bare model bench sobbing on Xmas day!

((worse is not being able to contact WNW till the 9th to get a tracking ref to chase ParcelFARCE at this end. I could have paid a few £ more and got one in 2 days from Hannants))

Keith, from experience it's not the fault of WNW, but it lies with parcel farce (I'll remember that) and customs. When I ordered my F.2B it took a week to get to the UK then sat with customs for two weeks then with parcel farce for another week before I got the letter asking for loads of cash for me to collect it from them

My last few orders have gone very well however your "Parcelfarce" service is much like our version 'Canada Past" oops I meant POST! I could regale all with tales of terror perpetrated by them in collusion with our customs folks. In all cases WNW were innocent. Most common culprit...........the Customs Mafia. (Hope it gets sorted out soon!)

Cheers

I will do the FE2b first, as it is already available and I need the WNW fit on pushers. The other aircraft that needs the WNW touch is the Salmson 2A2, the radiator and louvres could be amazing. Do you think at this scale, that the louvres could be drilled from behind so people see into them slightly?!?

I may as well join in on the wishful dreaming list; I'd be very happy to see several of the "pending" kits released (Sopwith Tripe, Snipe, DH2 or particularly their long trumpeted DVII) however still fantasize for a decent Camel Kit. Is this the year............?

Well apart from some that have just been released, a nice Hanriot HD1 and HD2 would be most welcome. Then again a move into the 'forgotten' golden age of the post war and 20's and 30's would also be welcome, how about a beautiful Westland Walrus of 1919 or a Blackburn Blackburn R1, mind you they have done a Gotha then how about a Handley Page 0/100 or 0/400 or Caproni Ca3.

Just a wishful mind and if they did do the 0/400 and Ca3 then I think I'd be living in a field as they would never fit in the house.

Warren,
I did a quick review of a previous thread where the new versions were discussed. Can you or anyone else confirm that the Hobbycraft boxes titled "Camel Clerget Aces" and "RFC Camel Le Rhone" are the "GOOD" ones and are still in production/available. Problem is all I see in my available shops are the older Hobbycraft/Academy clone ones (I think!?)
I suspect I'll have to do a little shopping on-line if I get confirmation that the new kits are indeed reasonable.
Cheers,
Lance
