Very nice
When I saw the 1 cent coin, I realised how small this aircraft is

Really nice model.
And just like Nick said, this plane is very small.

That is BLUE! Nice clean build, only crit, a bit of overpaint on the wheel hub, but that is really picky. Makes a super change from the usual grey and green of combat A/C.
Looks a cracking little kit.

Cheers Guys
many thanks for your kind comments! ... and yes this thing is small. The Me 163 is larger, both longer and of course also in wing span
JP: that is for sure not the only weak point ...
all the best

Hi guys
Now I call it done.
as always: comments welcome, but I doubt I will change much on this crate. Not the easiest project, but I have seen non built so far

Nice one Steffen!
A really nice build, and full marks for staying focussed on the project despite the enforced breaks. It was definitely worth it!
My eye keeps beng drawn to the shape of the windscreen and canopy. I've no idea which is correct. AZ hardly help, because their box-art and profiles don't even match in your thread, but the fit looks a problem. I don't know what the answer is there.
But an inspiring build for all of us who could at times do with a little extra "target fixation"!
All the best
Rowan

Hi Rowan
I am not sure about the windscreen. There are a multitude of variants here and this might be one of the possibilities (someone sent my aphoto where the front pit is completely covered...) ... imagine you do not want to do aerobatics but earn a few bucks flying passengers. Also I might have attached it the wrong way round .... but it fit o.k. this way.
The rear one is defintely too large but I did not want to scratch build a new so it is like it is and furthermore the pix show the model larger than it really is
all teh best

I'm in the middle of assembling a 1/32 scale Airshow Models Pitts S2B. I'll post some pics of it when it's complete.

Hey Steffen,
I just bought this model and am a little confused. Do you just glue objects such as the stick and wings in approximate locations? Also, do you have to go out and separately buy the plastic rods that the rudder pedals sit on? Thanks for the help!

Hi Paul,
this war the tricky part. You can find many pictures of Pitts Specials on the web (e.g. airliners.net). I used those to approximate the "correct" positions. This is a very basic model kit and I was not because of my lack of interest that it took me quite long. Instead of buying plastic profiles you can also use streched sprue.
Sorry I guess I am not a big help here.
