Wow , what a big difference ! A loo would be the cats meow as well as fridge for keeping beer in . T.V is a must , Steffen is on to something here .............
It's nice to be able to have the space to build , so with this new found room ...what are you going build ?

That change surely makes a difference!
Rowan, don't worry, I know what to do with that wallpaper if you don't like it. Start watching the instruction movie from the third minute.

Hi there
LOL! Michal, that would certainly do the trick! Alternatively, I could just not turn the spray booth on - eventually the wallpaper might be hidden under camouflage colours...
Steffen, I haven't even got my PC in there. I did think about it, but decided the Internet is too distracting while I'm trying to build something - plus, I want to use the computer with my guitars, and I certainly don't want them in there.
Terri - what will I build next? Well, I'll be picking up where I left off on the Spit etc., but the first new build will be a Bf 109G-10 for your Campaign. I'll make a start tonight.
All the best
Rowan

Nice bit of masking there Mr Bean!
Congratulations Rowan. I know how good it feels to get yourself a whole room set up for modelling!
What with the 190 and the Luft 46 your on a roll now,,I cant wait to see the Spit!
Actually, I was kind of hoping that we would be treated to a photo of the legendary Merlin Stash!.
All the best,
Nige

Hi Nige
Here you go. This is the main Stash (there's probably about a quarter as much again in various locations around the house):
The pic can't convey the true horror. As you can see, I had to join two shots to get it all in, but it's what you can't see that's really scary - i.e. the depth. The row behind is made up of the largest removal cartons I could buy. And to think I ditched a heck of a lot of stuff when I left London...
This is why I'm seriously cutting back on the number of new kits I get - there simply is no room for more. When I can face it, I've got to move the lot in the picture down three flights of stairs to a new home in the basement - and that has a much lower ceiling! I'm glad the boxes say "Mad"!
All the best

HI again
Well the pic conveys even less of the true horror than I expected - all I can see is a Red X! Probably just as well...
Ohh - OK... here it is from Photobucket:

Good Lord! I can only imagine the treasure hidden in these boxes!
If you show it public you must have a very good burglary insurance...(I'm affraid this is my professional deviation).

Hi Michal
I'm afraid all the kits have been opened and test-fitted, so their value has plummeted accordingly. I'd never make a good collector.

Hi Rowan
Yes, that is exactly like my stack (I only have approx. half of yours) but it is worth nothing as most kits are at least testfit .. many are started...
cheers

Hi Steffen
But I think you leave me way behind when it comes to books. I'm always very jealous when I see pics of your library - although, after carrying my collection upstairs to the workroom was glad for the sake of my aching back that I didn't have more!
Well, I put my shelves up this morning, so I can clear the work-top. I think I can officially declare my workroom open and ready for business.
All the best

Not a bad looking stash there at all even if it is all hiding , which I don't blame you , have to watch out for that Micheal . I only have 156 kit's in the stash so it is a small collection but not worth very much . Most of my have been removed for test fitting and drooling and more drooling .
Steffen has a really nice library and yes I'm jealous

Nige, I've worked it out. They came across on the ferry flat-stacked. THEY"RE ALL EMPTY !!
Rowan has no stash at all, what's on the bench right now is it.

Hi Damian
I'm tempted to say "I wish!" - it would have made the move away from London a heck of a lot easier!

Hi all,
For having seen it in flesh I can say Steffen's library IS large! If his building would fall down after an earthquake, I'm sure he would have enough room between his books to be safe for several days...
