Thanks for sharing your awesome diorama Louis! It is really impressive, and must have taken a lot of work and thought.

Hi Louis,
Excellent diorama! It would be great to see the source photo, too. Your modeling skills, skills with arrangement, and all elements make this a pleasure to view.

What a great diorama you show us here, Louis! It's awesome, so beautiful. How long did it take you to build? I would love to see it in real, I'm sure there would many more features to discover than on your pics.
Happy modelling
Torsten
PS: How big would a Sunderland be in my scale, 1:48?

Thanks all for your kind comments...This diorama was built in 1995 and it took about a year and a half to finish. It now stands with about 6 others in the Malta Aviation museum in the models section. My dioramas all have wartime Malta as a theme and try to include a few things here and there , so one can say this is Malta....for example in this one there is a beached typical colourful Maltese fishing boat to the left of the Sunderland. Unfortunatelely I have misplaced the pic that I created this diorama from but this occurence is well documented in many books about Wartime Malta. I have stopped doing them now...building ships instead which I enjoy very much. There are a few on this fantastic site
I will be posting more dioramas and hope you like them as well
Once more my sincere thanks
