Hello there. I have been skulking around this forum for quite some time now, always picking up tips and seeing many great builds. Also, this forum seems the friendliest of them all on the net, so I thought it about time I joined in...
I have built models for most of my life both planes and figures – About eight years ago I started my current WWI-building obsesion. I do planes in 1:32, and for another part of this network, 120 mm figures – even if the planes are my main occupation for now.
Like most of you, I am also nuts for Wingnuts, but I do love Rodens models too, hoping that they will both continue to release great kits – not that I'll have the time to build them all though...
Mikael
And here are two of my most recent builds
First the Special Hobby Nie 16. A really nice kit, with beautiful resin engine and other details. It lacks a bit in the engeneering department especially when it comes to the strut attatchements. But not a big problem even if I managed to break a few things in the process – Oh well...
Secondly...
Rodens Nie 28, also in 1:32 – also a nice kit as many of you know.

Welcome to the forum. Good folks here and lots of knowledge. I like your work, the 28 really looks good. It is my favorite allied a/c so I am a bit prejudiced.
Cheers

Welcome. This is a friendly site. More important though, it is a great site for people who love these aircraft. The information flows, and the builds improve. People here even compliment my builds .
Your pictures look great and we welcome you with open arms. Terri might even make up some more cookies.

Thank You all for the warm welcome and the kind remarks on my bulids
Terries homebaked cookies sound very nice
I'm Hoping to be able to build and show as much as possible in the near future (I also have a one year old baby girl to take care of, so I may not be as regular as I would like).
In fact I am working on an interesting (austrian) project at the moment. I'll try to post something shortly. Also, I will definately get one or four of the coming Wingnuts kits!
All the best
Mikael

Thanks again for making me feel welcome – those oatmeal and raisin cookies sound really good Terri.
Keith – a little bit crazy is good – people who claim they are totally sane makes me nervous
