I picked up some decals online at a steal. But I was just wondering if ICM P-51 kits are worth it? In particular, their "D" model kit.
I've built a couple ICM kits and they were terrible for the most part, but I have heard conflicting stories about their Mustang kits.
Also, What about Fujimi? Haven't built any of their kits, so I'm unsure about them as well.
Thanks for your advice,
~Chip

I built a ICM P-51 "Ridge Runner" a couple of years ago and while I can't remember too much about it, I do remember it being a bit of a pain. It ended up with a huge step from the wing root to the upper wing surface (you could see into the wing through the step), and I remember the cowling being overall too large for the fuselage it was to be attached to. I also remember the molding being a bit soft and the cockpit was a bit of a pain to fit into the fuselage above the rear radiator exhaust.
Other than that it wasn't too bad for the money.
