Nice build Steffen !
The camo decals look not to bad at all . Nice detailing in the kit to , for bring out of the box . Beats the older Hase/ Tamiya pit's !
Don't know if it is just me or the camera , but the nose seems to have an off shape to it ?

Thanks Terri
Yes there are several strange shapes on this kit.
As for the cowling: There is a "flat spot" on both sides of the nose which looks wrong .. but as I wrote this was more or less a test of such large decals and if I want to build another Bf 109E(which is very likely) I will surely use the Tamiya or Hasegawa kits (both have pros and cons but are much better than this).
OTOH I have just read a part of the hoistory og ZG 2 in the polish campaign and took the Signum boxing of the HC kit from the stack. Not much of a choice there, as I missed the CA Bf109D .. but I have a spare cowling from the Bf 109A kit which will make this model better.

Thank you Hermann!!
Jean Barby mentioned over on HS Plastic Pix, that the u/c looks long. Well, I am not sure about that and i took another pic. Of course there is some distorsion and the stance of the Tamiya kit is very broad. But you can see, that the legs are equally long as the Tamiya but longer than Hasegawa.
To me it does not look that bad and I just assume that the Academy is empty (no fuel or ammo)
