Almost at Pre-shading just need to touch up the wings and the radar disc....
Its getting there hope you like The radar disc is just sitting there it would be impossible to paint the walk ways with it on.

Coming along smoothly Justin, can't wait to see the decals. I plan on getting the new 1/48th Italeri Hawkeye (Kinetic boxing) and new decals. Also you get the two choices of props, 4 or 8 blades.
US Navy,
VAW-115 "Liberty Belles" CAG bird
VAW-125 "Tiger Tails" CAG bird
It’s the exact same Kinetic Hawkeye 2000 release…

Keep going Mr. Justin
But, is the radar glued in position
Also Mr. Joe, It's very interesting news that Italeri re-release the Kinetic Hawkeye
It has both the American & the French Markings on the Box and I think that it will be cheaper
Cheers Nick

Joe I will probably be doing an 8 bladed version later down the road.what is the price comparison to kinetics boxing
Nick no its not glued in place if I did painting the dark Grey walk ways on the top would be impossible I'll leave the disc it self loose so it will spin.

Justin the Italeri and Kinetic Hawkeyes seem to be priced the say. The Italeri offering has more bang for the buck, choice of blades (4or8)and better decals.
I agree Nick.
Happy Modeling,
Joe
I'm going to post mine sometime later today.

Just an update I'm on my wifes cell phone right now.router got hit by lightning.so it won't be fixed until Saturday.I've got base paint and gloss coat on and will start detail painting tonight .
And as far as the cabinet I told you d would take beer and fishing first and that would be some expencive shipping charges.who knows maybe one day I will drop in on d in my dream boat.

Thanks guys started decaling today and unfortunately Ive lost the nose art.The fighter town decals them selfs are very good but they out sourced the nose art to another company and as soon as I touched it with decal set it disintegrated Oh well the decals are correct and the nose art was only a temporary thing on the real one anyway.

I would recommend this kit to anyone it was a pleasure to build and fit was really good minus a few hick-UPS in the molds.
