After spending a long time in the shadows soaking up tips and advice, and admiring the excellent work here, I decided to be brave and step out into the light.

I have building off and on since childhood, and restarted in earnest 3 years ago. I limit myself to 1/32 scale (old eyes and hands). Unfortunately, I started off with a couple of Battle Axe kits-I didn't know any better...

I have moved on to Avis, Roden, Special Hobby, and am now working on the Encore Voss and McCudden kits. These kits are expensive, but I am allowed to indulge sparingly.

I will try to post photos of my efforts, if I can figure out how to do it. If these don't work, I apologize.

Hi Dennis, and welcome ! All I can see are those dreaded red "X" in your pics, what photo album are you using to link from ?
Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Cheers, D

Here you go. The problem is that the Kitmaker photos program is a bit jacked up. Right click on the images in your gallery and copy the properties URL.

First let me tip my hat to your Battle Axe Fokker E.III. Tough kit but you pulled it off.

Many thanks to all of you. Here is another image as a test. This was my first attempt at any model after many years, and I had to pick this one (Battle Axe). At the time, I thought "short run" meant special edition with extra care. I also didn't understand the correct direction of Fokker streaking or what constituted a laminated propeller.

Hi Dennis and welcome. I have not been here for very long yet, but I do feel veray much at home already.

Great effort on the B.A. kits by the way. Have done the EV/DVIII and the DVII myself. Really tough kits. I do like the look of your EIII very much. Have it in my stash, but too afraid to start it

Thank you Mikael and Terri.

Now that I have figured out how to post images, build logs may be next (once I get my hands on my own camera-I usually have to borrow one from work).

Welcome. Your builds look good to me. I am anxious to see what you can do with a Wingnut kit.

Thank you Carl. There are three WNW kits (Bristol, Junkers, LVG) that occupy a place of honor in my stash. I hope to start the Junkers later this year.

Thanks, Edo
The E III is one of my favorites also.
I would definitely pick WingNut Wings of the BattleAxe version any day. Hopefully the next kits (with the E series) will be released soon.
