I had to use the slightly lower temperature today to do an update on "my" site so progress is few (and I am also procrastinating as I wait for the masks and an answer from Roden .. I do not want to waste the seats that I need for the AU-23)
So just main wheels an the prop today. These are not fixed to the airframe yet but just stuck on and yes I flattened the wheels a bit (with an iron). I also shaped the prop blades with modeling knifes and sanders so the trailing edges are thin(ner).
I noticed on the pix that the wing has an anhedral (not sure if the plastic got soft due to the heat or if I turned it too fast after glueing). The struts will surely not correct that so I'll check if I can live with it or strengthen the struts ...

Nice build Steffen. This is really nice plane, so I think I'll have to buy one too

Thanky Anze and Tim!
I am still going a bit slow but as I did not get a single blip from Roden I went a bit ahead. I painted the inside of teh doors in 36622 and I also painted the seats from teh AU-23 in interior colour. For the seat cushions I used XF-5. Don't worry about the overpainting, it will be less obvious when the wash is on. Also I plan to install a simple 4-point seat belt .. maybe blue but I better go OD or khaki.

Wow, you've been busy!
She looks really good together and standing on her own legs. There's something about that long snout and top mounted wing that makes this bird appealing, at least to my eyes.

Hi Steffen
Referring to your post from 13th of July ("unklar, was hier angebracht werden soll - no idea what to mount there"), it must be the rotating beacon which is to mount there. At least, that's my suggestion.

Hallo Marcel
Thanks for the input.
The beacon (according to the instructions) shall be installed in the hole further aft off center (left-forward of the intake) but checking my photos I think you are right!
viele Grüße
Steffen
