Outstanding work on your Prowler, Joe. I'll be referring to your build blog often when I start mine.

I also had the same problem Andy, a small warp. Mine was in the center of the fuselage. What I did was dry fit in the cockpit, belly section #G19 which was taped on, then rubber banned together I held the tail while running under hot water from the sink. I did this for a bit, once I felt it was good enough I ran cold water over it to keep its shape. After pulling the pieces apart it was better, only a very vary small warp was found but better.
Looking forward to seeing yours once started, have you chosen your decals yet?

Superb looking paint job Joe.
Your weathering looks as realistic as I've ever seen on an actual Prowler.
Everything blends together very convincingly.
Hopefully you'll post more pics soon.
Take care,
Pete Brown

Yeah Pete I got it next to me, I did get some work on it last night. I had to make some changes to the ceiling and floor. Next are the litters, open and closed.
Thanks for the comments and Happy Modeling,
Joe

Man, I get distracted for a few weeks and you crank out another master piece. Seriously cool effects you've achieved with the weathering and paint. I'm bookmarking this one so I'll have some reference when I build mine.....(screw birds decals BTW).
Looking sweet man.

Canopy…once the pieces glued and the overhead detail was added, the pieces were dipped in acrylic floor wax mixed with yellow, red and a drop of blue food coloring. The canopy pieces were dipped three times 20mins in between dipping’s
Extra detail added to the wing fold using small wire and soldering wire.
I have finished this and will be posting photos soon.

Joe

I'm going to be trying your window tinting technique as soon as I get the chance to.
Can't wait to see the rest of the pics, the detail on this bird is top notch!

Well here she is finished. One thing I’m not great at is taking photographs, nor do I have the camera for it. Anyhow any comments or questions welcomed.

Thanks guys For the dip mixture, it's was like a cup of acrylic floor wax with 20 drops of yellow, 6 drops of red and a small drop of blue.I suggest playing around to get what you think looks good. I used a clear CD case to practice on. Nice thing about the CD case is that you run it under water to clean it off for the next dip.

Wow!
I really like it. What do you use to rescribe panellines? Just a 'needle' or some sophisticated tool? (so much to learn..)
Cheers!

Thanks guys, it's a fun little kit. I will put a build list of pros and cons and post it here for all, something I should have done at first or during the build.
Jurjen, what little scribing I did do was from a scribing tool that I got from UMM-USA item no# SCR 01. I have many scribing tools but this one handsdown is the best on the market. I suggest getting on and from there on you will never reach for anything else. I use for many of my builds be it armor, aircraft, cars and scratchbuilding. I can keep going on with this.....
