Third time lucky? First two posts seemed to disappear into the ether...
Well.. after 6 weeks of building, one of my longest builds ever as I had to wait for various things.. including time to finish the model, my WNW LVG is finally finished.
I learned a lot of new techniques in this build and developed a way to simulate the wood grain bits that a wrote a small feature on for Aeroscale.
I finished photographing the model and the first thing that happened, I broke one of the drag rigging lines... Thank goodness photos were finished! Anyway, here is the finished product.
Next up is either the SE5.a or Bristol Fighter. Am trying to build them in sequence of their kit numbers.
But before that I have to finish the Revell 1/400 QM2 with GMM PE for my Wife.

Hi Warren:
Good Job on the LVG, too bad about the broken rigging! It is certainly a challenge, but well worth the effort. Good luck on the QM-2!
Best

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. It is amazing how you find problems AFTER you take the photos..
When I finally finish the 1/400 Queen Mary 2 for my Wife I will start the SE5.a. Not too much wood effect stuff there!
