My guess is that these were to have been in the fourth wave. But I recall reading somewhere, maybe here, that a decision was made to loosen some of the part tolerances so that you did not have to scrape the paint away to have the parts fit, these got bumped to the front of the queue; as it was faster to move these up as the molds had not been cut. I am optimistic that the former 3rd wave (RE8, Gotha & D.VII) are nto far behind.

Just idle speculation, or am I speculating on idols?

yes I was rather distressed to see the Fok. D.VII vanish from coming soon...now I have to decide....which of these to go for, I guess I'll check the decal options though favouring the Pfalz if only to escape the woodgraining, having built several Albies.

I'm with Keith here – still hoping for the DVII very soon – I also will wait to see what the marking options will be for these two before I decide... They were not on my original "must have" list of the coming WNW releases...

– The Roland is looking quite sweet thogh...

Both the Pfalz and the Roland have lovely curves!

What I found interesting seeing the Pfalz & Roland in similar poses on the same page reveals how LFG and Roland were two branches from the same limb of German WWI fighter evolution. Their overall shape and their lower wing roots really make for interesting contrast.

OOPs! Meant to say LFG/Roland and Pfalz were both from the same branch of German WWI fighter evolution.

New section "NEWS" on WNW website - just announced "3 Days Left Till New Releases Announced!!"

http://wingnutwings.com/ww/news

Probably the Roland D.VIb and the Pfalz D.IIIa . . . Maybe something else?

Could we see a Fokker D.VII or two?. . .

News met with mixed feelings I have to say, seeing as Europe and the rest of the world have missed the order for Xmas date...seems very poor planning on WNWs part to release these now.....

I may well now wait for the DVII as I had hoped to put one of these on my Xmas wish list...theres no way on earth at the moment with my financial state I can justify buying one myself.

You've got to hand it to WNW – they really are masters of marketing, and keeping us in suspence...

I'm guessing it'll be the Roland and Pfalz (pretty obvious) – but also some figures and aftermarket sets perhaps... Could also be some of the afore mentioned "extended" boxings of the Junkers or Albatros?

Of course I'm personally hoping for the Fokker D.VII kits

Oh, and I hope WNW have enough bandwith on th eir site to cope with the web traffic heading thier way in about three days time.

They use the singular of 'release', so I am guessing it is the Gotha. Hasn't the Gotha been seen in raw form at shows almost since the beginning of WNW?

Could be, if the Pfalz and Roland showings was just a decoy operation, its really fun to keep guessing

Oh – and I think the singular "release" could also mean the ocation of release? Ie. as in WNWs third release wave...

From the underground.
". . .I can not scoop the scoop but will post on Thursday for Non Uk , once the SAMI magazine is out in the UK. I will say yes the Roland and Pfalz are in the next four, the other two have been announced but one was not expected yet and has dropped off the radar a bit if you look at the other threads on WW releases. Will say that the single seat fighters have gone up $10 from the round one releases which is not bad considering how fast other plastic kits have sky rocketed in the last year or two. Also factor in free shipping and they really look good value compared to many kits. . ."

Oh My... (Droool)

WingnutWings are certainly shifting up their gears a bit, this is fantastic news – that RE8 looks absolutely fabulous. Hard choice between this one and the "Ninak"... Don't think I can afford both. (I am currently awaiting a parcel from NZ, but I don't know whats in it, could be the Hansa or the Ninak, or perhaps one of these new ones that just appeared)

I guess Terri is cartwheeling with joy, now that the Pfalz is finally here

Looks like the Gotha is not far off either Hmmmm food for thought

Best Regards

It has been going since WNW first opened.. It has always been for a 'limited time'... Who knows.

Seems WNW have announced the price of the coming Gotha under News to a, in my opinon, very reasonable 139 USD. Still with free shipping being offered it seems.

My resolve is weakening...
