Hi everybody,

I am just starting the Eduard1/48 combo kit of the Fokker Eindecker, after looking at the photo’s on the Old Rosebuds site, I have been looking at the fuselage on the kit and it seems to have the ribs protruding quite a lot to the rear of the cockpit, Now I am not under any illusions that this may or may not be correct, but on the photographs, the ribbing seams to either not show or is very slightly showing.

So would the kit look better with the smooth sided fuselage or with the ribs slightly showing, I am not too experience in this so I hope it doesn’t sound like a stupid question....?

Not a silly question at all,the rear of the fusalage would have a greater surface tension because it is a smaller surface area, which would show the uprights more in relief.
Atmospheric conditions also can cause a certain amount of stretch and sag on a daily basis, just do what you think looks right
