Just helped a younger enthusiast build one... it's the first they have done all be it with some help.

He painted all of it (except where landing gear retracts and canopy) himself although he did have a bit of help with the spray gun
and the stickers on the tail fin and elevators that's it.

Was taken to school to show the assembly but returned missing a wheel and propellers,.

We all had to start somewhere and although not the greatest the look on his face and the proudness he has is great.

Reminds me of my first. Espesially the missing props.

Very nostalgic for me as well. I have no idea how many of my early aircraft models turned into "in flight" through broken props and landing gear. Very kind of you to take the time to post his work online, Im sure he is excited to see it up here. Hope he keeps up the hard work.

Glad to see younger modelers coming up through the ranks. At some point, the hobby's going to "age out" and the manufacturers will go the way of the dinosaurs.
