I think he's offering to share (jk Warren) Those are all sweet choices and I'd be happy to see any one of them. Btw, where did you get a 1/32 Chinook?

Erm... (looks at floor and shuffles feet) ,, it is 1/35, not 1/32..

I know something that would be really different, a 1/350 USS Missouri or New Jersey... or a USS Enterprise...

@ Bob, you know I am not showing off.. If I listed the twenty or more others I could build, all 1/32 or 1/35, then that would be showing off!

Gents,
This sounds like a excellent idea. I've always wanted to honor Lt(jg) Dieter Dengler, the German born (Wildberg) American citizen who was shot down while piloting his A-1H in 1966. He passed away in 2001 and his life story is amazing.

This will be a great excuse to break out the 1/48 Tamiya "Spad" and finish her out in the markings of VA-145. Between now and the official start time I will research the BuNo and other markings specific to Lt(jg) Dengler's aircraft the day he was shot down.

Count me in!

Awesome choice M! Make sure you run over to Armorama and sign up here as the campaign is not showing up on the other sites, even though it is a Kitmaker University campaign.

Thanks for posting this. I may possibly go with the EC-121. I have several of these on the shelves and this would be a good reason to dive into one. Need to decide on markings now... Decisions, decisions...
