Good to see your work again -- an incredible job!

Weathering via "hairspray technique," I read the step-by-step in the feature, but how does it work? Does the scrubbing remove the paint, or the paint and underlying hairspray??

Fantastic job, Jean-Luc! That's "grosses Kino" as we say in Germany. So finally we have a Fw 189 in 1/48. Hope to see your build this year at an expo, maybe Mannheim ..... ?

as you have both kits(great wall and mpm)which do you consider to be the best? as you seem to have used quite a few of the mpm kits interior pieces.

looks great! the front end looks like a greenhouse a very interesting plane that I was not aware of.

Another excellent build, Jean-Luc. As usual, your painting is impeccable, and the weathered whitewash effect was very convincingly executed (though the wintry looking base is reminding me too much how severe this winter has been so far).

The scrubbing removes the hairspray and of course the paint that has been applied over it. In fact think of the hairspray as some kind of varnish that don't resist to water.





The Great Wall Hobby kit is way better I think and much easier to build. However, the MPM kit has some nice details which have been forgotten in the GWH kit, especially if you have the Hi-Tech edition. But I wouldn't worry building the MPM kit now that there is a better one available.
