Very , very COOL ! The pre-shading turn out really well , time consuming but well worth the effort and you pulled it off nicely !
Looking forward to your next up-date on the progress

Who needs glue?
Test fit of the top wing and wheels. I gave up in frustration trying to attach the Albatros top wing but this kit fits perfect. Even what I presume is a gas line attached w/o a hitch.
BTW- I have searched high and low for a picture that shows that black pipe running from the engine to the top wing but can't find one. Is that pipe accurate?

Getting to the finish line. Have installed the guns and fold down windscreen.
Rigging should be easy thanks to Wingnuts providing little bump outs on the wings with pre-drilled holes.
I am using Bob's Buckles, Albion brass tubing and smoke colored thread for the rigging.
I haven't been very successful rigging other kits but this method and the pre-drilled locator holes should be a big help.

Tom,
I'm a little late in the progress of your build; your paint results are impressive and very "clean". Do you have any suggestions on a source for Mister Kit paints? I ordered 8 bottles some time ago and the supplier only had one color in stock, rest were on back order and cancelled and I now have a lonely bottle of Albatros Red brown sitting on the bench!
Terri,
Being a "neighbor " of sorts, any suggestions as well??

Great work all around, Thomas. Did the engine cowlings fit nice for you?

Thank you Mark. Believe it or not the cowlings fit w/o any problems at all. Everything in this kit fits w/o a hitch. Even where the water pipe pops out it fits fine and lines up perfect with the top wing.

Work is progressing on the Pfalz. One thing that needs a little more care is the placement of the engine. It moved while drying and now there is a problem centering the propeller. I had to clip off the shaft that holds the spinner and will glue the plate to the fuselage. No big deal unless you want the propeller to spin.
The rigging between the two wings is done. Bob's buckles and the brass tube made this a breeze
All I have left to do is the back end of the plane, a few more decals, some light weathering and spray on some dullcoat.

and thrice nice, she looksreally sweet.
A bit of a bugger about the engine alignment with WNWs tolerances theres no *slogger* to bodge.
I have a similar issue with the Roland, the engines slightly of centre sideways, only a smidge and I'm hoping a gentle tweak of the shaft is enough.
Lovely work though abd has me more tempted to ad a Pfalz to my flightline.
TY for sharing
Keith

Finished!
I have built a lot of models and even finished a few and w/o a doubt this is my favorite. Hats off to Wingnuts for such a great kit.
Here is a comparison of the Wingnuts and Roden kits on the shelf.
Thanx to everyone for looking and your positive comments. On to Knights of the Sky. Tom

Really turned out nice. It looks like Roden puts out a decent kit as well, the both look great. Thanks for posting and sharing with the group, looking forward to your KotS build.
Best
