Very Nice and I love the attention to detail. Keep up the great work. I sure hope the crash didn't mess anything up!!

ok, lets get caught up here.

Pre crash I painted the canopy area black for the frames along with main and tail rotors:

Then the model crashed, broke of a landing skid, 3 antenna and knocked my nose weight loose which broke loose an ammo door.

also cracked a few seams...not going to worry about them at this point.

To repair the skids I drilled the mounts and added brass wire:

Back on her feet!

Its done, but let me catch up first.
Two tone paint done:

parts waiting to be finished

After these shots, I decaled the model. While the Cartograph decals are beautiful, in register and look amazing, they wouldn't lay down no matter what I did!
No pics of this, as I was SO tempted to throw it out (again).
Once done, I weathered it..I like dirty birds and after seeing some war time shots in the desert of these Cobra's being down right filthy....I went to town.

Here is a teaser.

thank you!
I do enjoy weathering and the dirtier the subject is in reality, the more brazen I can be in my application.
