nice job !! i nearly baught this kit the other day ( it is definately on my to do list ) unfortunately nostalgia grabbed hold of me and i baught a 1/72 airfix p40 ( the old one in the gift set ) as it was the first ever kit i built as a kid

as it is 40 yrs pretty much to the day since i started modelling i think a reunion with my first built kit is due to see how i fare now to then ..

I can understand Your motivation, nostalgia is a strong thing, Today I spend the whole day trying to fix an old Airfix AEC Matador kit which was a gift from my granddad back in 1995 (it was the 50th anniversary of D-Day rebox). He pased away few years ago so I was hoping to be able to fix the Matador to have something to remind me of Him in the cabinet, but it was unreparable.
