I can hear my wallet wimpering even now...

If this release program is the same as last years there should be about 5 more releases before Christmas including one or two unexpected ones.

I wish they has released four different aircraft rather than two aircraft in two versions. But I think it is a very small thing to have to complain about..

Umm.. Dear, you know how I had some money in my account....

Great looking releases. I am still yearning for the Gotha, but the Finance Minister of the house, well she has not warmed up to it......yet.....

Any idea on the story of the Rumpler with "Good People don't shoot" painted on it? Rather strange, yet interesting....

Wow Terri, I've been checking literally two-three times daily and missed it. As unique as the two subjects are I am puzzled that the DVII promised long long ago still did not "make the cut". The Tripehound would have been great as well however everyone has their own preferences.
On the brighter side I'm still playing catch-up; put a " Christmas Wish List " in with Mrs. Claus for the DXII and Roland DVI and, with several in the stash that will keep me busy for some time.
Thanks for the heads up on this.

Cheers!

Back again, and a bit calmer now  – I've now ordered a late version Fee – hoping the Swedish customs will release it before X-mas...

Mikael

P.S. A Pfalz DXII found its way into the basket as well

I never even considered the economic aspect before I hit the buy button... It'll be a bit lean in the wallet for a few weeks I guess...

Exciting times indeed for the discriminate WWI a/c modeler. Two FEE's and Two Rumpler's, who would have ever guessed it? My stash continues to grow while my build rate continues to slow. Good going WNW, I may just have to pop for one of the Rumpler's.

Best

Ok, forgive me, but what are the differences between the early and late FE.2b and the early and late Rumplers? I did a quick glance and the instructions, and they seem to be quite similar?

Warren,
Hope you are right ref. more releases soon..........there may still be hope for the Tripehound and/or DVII I was hoping for! (even the Snipe would make for a very special Holiday Season!)

Cheers,
Lance

OOOH, OOOH, in all the excitement did you notice that the Rumpler Late is Kit no.37 ! That now leaves 11 numbers "unaccounted for".

Not being an expert, but I think the differences are quite small. With the Rumpler I think the major difference is that the late version did not have the propeller spinner. With the FE2B's not really sure, maybe the undercarriage had some differences. I am sure there will be someone on this forum with the list of differences.

A Rumpler (early) ordered, rather sad there was no DVII but hey some lovely kits to ruin

I ordered the early as I prefered the camo schemes offered I know some might wonder why WNW released early and late variants, only reason I can see personally as the boxes seem to contain pretty much the same parts is the profile options, the later having some better model options but the earlier some finer camo options to my mind at least.

Hopefully I'll get it before santa comes. Just time to finish the DII and Pfalz first?

Hi again

Well, I must admit I'm still slightly in shock! It was real jaw-on-the-floor time when I opened the mystery package!

So I'm busily re-writing my Reviews schedule, because the old one has obviously gone straight out of the window!

All the best
