I know I planned to build this one out of the box but I just couldn't leave the wingtips as they were.The Bleriot has a beautiful ,elegant wing that I want to retain on this model.
note: the manufacturer has taken a lot of artistic license with the design of this wing.Please check your references.

The most difficult thing about building this kit is to restrain myself from wanting to change everything to make for a more accurate build.The obvious mistakes or anything that takes away from the beauty of this airplane I plan to correct, otherwise it will still be out of the box.The instruction booklet is all but useless.There is no hint of a step by step method of building this kit.The English/Italian translation is terrible.I can only wonder how many of these kits were ever built before the builder just gave up in frustration.

I can't say that I like the idea of balsa wood wingtips.It may be accepted procedure but it looks like hell !

You can see on this pic that I have reduced the wing tip to better conform with the rest of the wing.
