Plaudits!
I love the interiors, the engine. Making a plain light-coloured surface like that look so good is a real skill. Also really appreciated the convincing wood effect on the chocks!

Hi Przemek!
It took me a long time to think about answering or not. First of all I must admit, that your modelling skills are on a very high level and definitly higher than mine. And your Eurofighter (or "Eufi" as we call it here in Germany) has just to please you, which it certainly does.
Usually I don't criticize anyones model in a negative way because of the above mentioned reasons. But ..... please have a look on the original 30+09 from JG 73 in Rostock-Laage. This aircraft looks very clean as all "Eufis" are new to our Air Force (first delivered in 2004) and are very well maintained. Your model looks like it flew at least 3 missions a day a whole year through without ever seeing a sponge or something like that. That's way too much weathering! And were are all these panel lines on the wings coming from? Did Trumpeter do that? Would be really nonsense on these aircrafts. And at least where does that colour come from? Is it also a suggestion by Trumpeter or is it just a reflection of your photos? It looks something like a greyish Brown to me. To be honest, to me the colour isn't clear either. But it's kind of a blueish Grey. At least the German, Spanish and Austrian Eurofighters. I don't know if there is a FS No. for the colour.
Well, I hope you don't take my critics personally, Przemek. At the momemt I'm also working on an "Eufi" from JG 73. It's the 1/48 twinseater kit from Revell. It will be the 30+20 with special markings on the rudder. I used Revell Aqua Colour paints and mixed this special colour with 75 % Grey 374 and 25 % Light Blue 65 as suggested by Revell and I must say, the tone comes close to the original.
Happy modelling!
Torsten

Mate, looks brilliant and a job worth being very proud of. I only wish I could produce something close to your level of expertise!

I can only agree with the comments above, the finish on your build is excellent. I love the burnt metal effects on the outlets, and the level of detailing is awesome. As Torsten said, the most important thing is that you enjoyed the build and that you are happy with the result.

I would just like to say WOW dude that is one sick set up major attention to detail and I love placards for the load out.i second the comment on the chalks as for the weathering I wouldn't have done so much but it's not my model and it looks like its been sitting on display a long time so the weathering kinda fits the application.again you should be proud great work sir

Thorsten, Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm affraid my modelling skills are not so good as you think. This was my 3rd plane and I'm still learning.
Now about the other side of your post. Feel free to criticize, because it will motivate me to put more work, attention and precise in my models. I do not take it personally so I do not feel offended.
Regarding dirt and weathering, it is my lets say problem, because I like to make them dirty. I've seen a lot of photos of "Eufi" but anyway I decide to make it a more dirty, just a little bit, but I know that I overdose. My bet.
Next thing that you mentioned was that model has too much panel lines. That's true but for my explanation I can only say that is was done by so called crazy riveted in Trumpeter. I did not add any line to this plane.
And last thing colors. There were taken from trumpeter's manual. It was meant to be sort of blue-gray but after spraying gloss clear color changed to be more green-brown and worst were when I spray it again with flat clear. Color changed again to something we have now.
At the end I will post one of the photos of MiG-29, the one that I'm working on. It is almost finished so you can see that this one will be also dirty
Of course my biggest "Thank you" goes to Richard West, Nick Sinclair, Damian Rigby and Justin McCracken for your very kind words and nice comments.
