The Bavarian coat of arms (lesser version) tends to focus just on the reigning Wittelsbach family. Printscale has given us a field sheet of Bavarian blue rhomboid decals in a quoted scale of 1:48.

That looks great! Reminds me of Bierzelt...

Joking apart, I have never seen a WWI plane using this. I only remember a German F-4F and some F-104s bearing the rhomboids.

Beer tent eh? I remember those days. . .There were a few WWI German aircraft that used this pattern to one degree or another.

Looks like a nice sheet Stephen – I can feel an urge for Ompha-Ompha music and Bratwurst coming over me... Some of my favourite WWI schemes are in the Bavarian colours.
