Oh noes, I checked the stash the other day, someone stole the Sparrows out of my Hase F-4E (just clipped off the corner of the sprue ) Then the tail hook is missing out of the Italeri F-4E/F Wild Weasel. Looks like it's the Fujimi RF-4B for me. No where near ready to tackle the USAirfix F-4A/B/C/D/E.

I'll try to make one of the nearly 20 Phantoms in my stash, perhaps with some national pride it will be an EDA (Ejercito del Aire - Spanish Air Force) F-4C in SEA or a RF-4C in Hill Gray, let me study it.
Titans Phorever (the last unit to fly the RF-4C in the EDA), their shield is my avatar image

Can't you liberate some sparrows from another kit? Does the F-4E you were planning definately need the Sparrows (they weren't always carried). If not the Fujimi Phantoms aren't too bad
Alvaro - happy to have you on board. It will be good to have a Spanish F-4, the more nations the better in this campaign!

I'm in, still one of the best looking planes ever, at least in my opinion. Great idea!!

The general plan was to go with the Fujimi, Just took a side trip to the stash before I committed. So no huge loss, I'm sure the Sparrows can be sourced somewhere, the tail hook is a bigger problem.

Oh yesss, I took a moment today to check the Fujimi RF-4B sprues. Fujimi very thoughtfully put 4 sparrows in the box and then listed them as not used. So one problem solved, now I just gotta figure out the tail hook.

I'm most deffinately IN on this one, I love the phantom, it's one of the best fighters there has ever been in terms of versatility I'm not sure there is much that can beat it.
Being British I of course love the RAF Phantoms and therefore the Fujimi kits, however I like the way the Fujimi phantoms go together including the other versions, when compared to the slightly more difficult Hase Phantoms, so I have quite a few of the Fujimi kits in the stash all in 1/72;
British Phantom FG.1 "Silver Jubilee"
British Phantom FGR.2 "Firebirds"
British Phantom F-4K "Yellowbird"
British Phantom F-4M "Shark Teeth"
RAF F.3 (F-4JUK) Phantom II "Tiger"
F-4E/F "SHOGUN"/"WHITEMILK" 2 in 1.
F-4E "30th Anniversary"
RF-4E "Woodpecker"
I'm not sure which I will go with at this point, all I know is that I will deffinately enjoy this build!!

I've been looking through my stash today and have decided upon two kits for a Phantom double-build: an F-4C and an RF-4C, both from Hasegawa in 1/72. The F-4C will be one of Robin Olds' planes while I haven't really decided yet what to do with the recce bird.

I'd make my Hasegawa 1/72 F-4EJ Kai in Japanese sevice.
However I'm missing a photo-etched set, I'll try and get one in a trade to enter this .
Kind regards, Sven.

Hi all!
I haven't built anything in a couple of years, and have had trouble restarting.
I always wanted to build an 1973 Israeli F-4E Phantom, so I will definitely try to get my act together for this campaign!
Opened up the box,and noticed that the instructions were missing (Hasegawa 1/48 F4-E IDF Phantom)! Can anybody here help me!?!
Cheers! // Björn

Björn! Nice to have you around for this build, I've been missing you! And a good choice of model, it can fly escort for my RF-4 from the same air force. Instructions should be possible to get from somewhere, have you tried at IPMS Stockholm as well?
