what i meant by the link was the additional info/images:: click for more info.
thats not tthere to take you directly to the forum,, not trying to be a bug , just makes it more convenient to get to the forum,,, unless someones knows something like an easier way and i am missing it?

None of the campaigns currently have links directly to the forum as yet. The additional info/pics link bit that shows we tend to use if we need to link to an external website for info such as a specific manufacturer, etc. This additional info box is on the campaign submission form and this would have been left blank as when the submissions come through we just amend the dates if required and make it live we don't normally do any amendments apart from dates hence why it is up to campaign leaders to upload the ribbons and award ribbons at the end of the campaign. If the additional info url/pics box on the submission was filled in then it would be showing something on the campaign sign up page. Currently If this is filled in it would only go to the proposal thread.
As we have one thread for when the campaign is proposed and being discussed then start a new official thread once the campaign becomes live it means remembering that we would need to go back into the campaign to edit the links etc (campaign leaders cannot do this).
However if this is something wanted by the campaigners we could look into this after the new year when the next lot of campaigns start to have their official posts started. It might be easier to stop any confusion by putting the link in once the official thread is started.

Dave you have not done anything wrong I don't think anyone has ever filled in that additional url box with the campaign proposal thread even myself and Allen don't on our campaigns just trying to explain why there is nothing in that link bit on the enlist bit no one has really raised that they wanted a link to the thread before so its something that has never really been bothered with.
Your campaign submission was fine

Dave, Sam,
I think the confusion might have something to do with the fact that that link to the thread is a common occurrence on Armorama.
Cheers Rob.

Ahhhh thanks rob I have to admit I have not done any campaigns on Armorama for years and years. If it is something that Aeroscalers would like to link to the official thread once up and running we can as I said look into it and get that set up.

I like it but maybe reduce the red a little so there is a bit more white around the eagles head (especially near the beak)

The original picture I'm working from is cropped that closely so I'll have to get a bit creative.
{fx}sounds of clicking keys...
I had to crop out the original bird head, replace it with a white background, then layer on the bird head resized a little smaller. How does it look now?
