Russell, thanks for leading us around the expo. I would like to know what scale mostly were the aircrafts built? Or what is it mostly in the US?

Hi Torsten, most of the models were 1/48 scale. The Heinkel 219 which won Best in Show was also 1/48 scale. The number 29 Corsair was 1/72 scale. My entries, for display only, which were the B-24, P-38, and the rest grouped together were 1/72 scale as well. The Piedmont airliner, a 737-200 was 1/144. I am glad you enjoyed the show report.

Next year we are moving the show to a one level gymnasium near Bays Mountain Park for more room and easier access for vendors and contestants alike, so hopefully we will have more entries.
We plan to break down some of the categories too, into scales as the show become larger. Russell

Thanks for the infos, Russell. I was just curious about the scales. Here in Germany scales 72 and 48 are about same strong but 32 gets bigger since a few years, since Revell and especially Trumpeter came more and more up with it.

And good luck for your clubs next years expo. It's the same with my club here. We started 2009 and we're getting bigger and bigger every year.
