SWMBO ordered the Fok & OAW variants for me for Xmas.
Whooohoo!
Some choice markings for the OAW variant though Even the old Revell Buchner's bird though I've always wanted to to Stark's Li too.
But WNW have thought of everything even streaked Decalling for the Fok variant. Oh MY! I do want to do Bruno Loerzer's humbu DVII in 1:32

You lucky man Keith
My head is spinning with all the possible paint jobs I want to do – latest calculations I'm going to need at least two of each version
Oh yeah, that Fokker streaky cammo is interesting... The decal sheets looks very, very comprehensive!!!
My credit card is melting...

I popped for the OAW version this morning. If SWMBO ever finds out prior to the 48 hour rule, I am dead meat!

I wonder if the extra lozenge they provide in the kit will fit on the Roden Fokker DVI?

Yes it will with some surgery.

Cool: I thought they might work with some surgery. Now I can tackle that kit with confidence the decals won't shatter or fight me.
Thanks Stephen.

Hello Mark,
I tackled the DVI a few years ago, and to my surprise then, the lozenge decals behaved quite well. As I recall no shatters or brittle experiences... As for the correctness of the colours, well I guess that's another matter
Looking forward to see your take on the Fokkers
All the best
Mikael

Yes, I got my notice this AM as well, faster then when I ordered the last (Sopwith Triplane) kit. Might even get here by the end of the week if all the stars align properly!

Hi Mikael:
Yes, this new releases by WNW with the Fokker EIII etc., and the DVII really makes the possibility for a nice line up of Fokkers with available kits. The only one missing in 1/32nd is the DII, that I know of. I'll bet the release of the DVII has put WNW in the black, so many choices: the decals the kits, I can only imagine the aftermarket decals that will appear now that the kits are out. It absolutely boggles the mind!
I got confirmation this a.m. that the kit was shipped. More news as it happens.
Best
Mark

I'm seriously considering getting one of each... My wallet won't recover for a while, but I just can't make up my mind about which one to get

Hi there
Ohh my goodness! Look what landed today at Castle Aeroscale, along with a certain Triplane!

I guess this slightly changes my review schedule...

Cheers Warren
I appreciate the offer, but in the interests of avoiding delay, I fear I'll have to bear this particular cross myself... well, that's my excuse, anyway - and I'm sticking to it!
I've done a quick recce of the package and, no surprises there - the kit is just as gorgeous as expected.
All the best

Ohhhhh – Still waiting for mine to ship... Guessing it'll take until after X-mas til they appear here. Oh well I have few things to finish off before.
Looking forward with eager anticipation on your review Rowan – you lucky man

Hi Mikael
Having had a good old sift through the kit today and test-fitted the major parts, I realise (as if there was ever any doubt(!)) that I'm a very, very lucky man!

It is a real beauty!
For what it's worth, my hunch is that this could prove to be WNW's most popular kit to date. It's got everything - a legendary subject, masses of detail, but not too daunting for inexperienced biplane modellers...
By hook or by crook - I'm going to make the time and space to get this one onto the workbench in the next few days!
All the best

SHUT UP!!

So this is how our newest Reviewer speaks to his Managing Editor?! I tell you, when I was a boy on the original Armorama, and Bryan was in charge of aircaft, people showed some respect... (grumble, grumble)

Mine have got through customs... I'm tracking them every few hours

obsessive or paranoid its the only way to ensure they get into my hands...laughs.
So Merlin you can cancel G4S to watch for burglers and such.
Only bad thing, I pick them up from Parcelforce, bring them home.. SWMBO nabs them and wraps them up... anyhow I ordered 2 sets of lifters and springs for them already.
