Great Wall Hobby have just sent us in a preview of their forthcoming release which is another incarnation of well known and highly appreciated P-61B Black Widow with the painting options from Iwo Jima in 1945.

just when I thought I could successfully ignore the GWH P-61 then they go and do something silly like issue it with the markings Id want

Looks like there are no drop tanks included. Odd.. They include tanks on the release that shouldn't have them, but neglect them on ones that do. The slots on the wing are there to mount them. And I doubt the canopies fit any better on this release.
